What If Somebody Cuts You Off In Traffic?

Q: What if somebody cuts you off in traffic?
- - A: Give him space, do not respond to him at all, pray for him, pray for the safety of others.

Your first obligation is to the safety of everyone who might be directly affected by this cutoff, so immediately you should give plenty of space to the car which cut you off. Let him go on about his business without further incident. You should not respond to him in any way, either positive or negative. Just let the incident pass without apparent notice on your part. Do not allow yourself to become angry, but immediately forgive the other driver. Please recognize that reckless driving is frequently a symptom of other problems in the life of the driver, so pray for him. The other driver has already demonstrated that he may be dangerous to others, so also pray for the safety of others he might harm.
