If We Ask According To His Will, With Sufficient Faith, God Will Give Us Anything We Request,
But Sometimes He Will Not Give Us
Things Unless We Ask For Them.

These are the two conditions our requests must meet in order to be granted by God: First, they must be in harmony with His will; Second, we must believe that we will receive what we ask for. If we meet these two conditions, He will give us anything we request.

Here are the Scriptures which explain this . . . 

         1 John 5:14-15 (KJV)
       
        14
               And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if
               we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
        15
               And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know
               that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

      "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find;
       knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" (Matthew 7:7 KJV)

      "Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by
       prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
       requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6 KJV)

      "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
       when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall
       have them." (Mark 11:24 KJV)
But always remember that God's will must be done, and we should always desire to live in harmony with His will. The night before He was crucified, Jesus expressed this very clearly . . . 
   
      "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
       nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." (Luke 22:42 KJV)

God desires for us to ask Him for things, and sometimes He will not give us things unless we ask for them. 


      "Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing
       by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
       requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6 KVJ)


      "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, 
       and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not,
       because ye ask not." (James 4:2 KJV)
