Jesus Christ Actually Lives Inside His People

Jesus Christ actually lives inside His people. This is not some vague figure of speech or poetic image, but it is the literal truth. If we accept Him as our Lord and invite Him in, He comes into us to live inside us and to be with us forever as our Lord. 


      "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
       Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I
       live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave
       himself for me." (Galatians 2:20 KJV)

       Romans 8:11 (KJV)
              "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the
               dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead
               shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
               dwelleth in you."


       Romans 8:9 (KJV)
              "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be
               that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
               not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."


       1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)
              "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the
               Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"

      John 14:17 (KJV)
       
            "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,
             because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know
             him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."
             (John 14:17 KJV)

       Ephesians 3:17a (KJV)
              "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;"


       1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV)
              "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
               Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are
               not your own?"
If you are not yet a Christian, Jesus wants to come and live in you, too. He is knocking on your door right now. Let Him in. 

      "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,
       and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup (dine) with
       him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20 KJV)
