Blessings to you, the readers of this page, in Jesus Christ our Lord. May He guide you and protect you always.
The New Covenant is that which God gave through Jesus Christ to all people who would believe in Him as Son of God, risen from the dead, and who would accept Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. In the New Covenant, righteousness is attained by faith in Jesus Christ, relying on His Holy Spirit dwelling within us to lead us in all things. As Lord, Jesus expects us to follow His written commandments, but they are few in number and easy to follow, once His Holy Spirit dwells within us. The New Covenant is described and explained in the New Testament of our Bible. It is summarized in the most important single verse in the Bible, John 3:16 . . .
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life." (John 3:16 KJV)
The New Covenant, based on faith in Jesus, replaces the Old Covenant,
based on following all the details of the Law of Moses.

Here are Scriptures which affirm the statements made above . . .
NOTE: The Greek word for "covenant" is DIATHEKE (dee-ath-ay'-kay),
Strong's word 1242. In the KJV, this one Greek word is sometimes
translated "covenant" and sometimes translated "testament." The New King
James Version always translates DIATHEKE as "covenant."
Matthew 26:28 (KJV)
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed
for many for the remission of sins.
Mark 14:24 (KJV)
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new
testament, which is shed for many.
Luke 22:20 (KJV)
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is
the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
1 Corinthians 11:25 (KJV)
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had
supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood:
this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
2 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;
not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter
killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Hebrews 8:7-13 (KJV)
7
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should
no place have been sought for the second.
8
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with
the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9
Not according to the covenant that I made with their
fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead
them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not
in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house
of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my
laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and
I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and
every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all
shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their
sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first
old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to
vanish away.
(This quotation refers to Jeremiah 31:31-34, below)
Hebrews 9:15 (KJV)
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new
testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of
the transgressions that were under the first testament,
they which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.

abide in him.
