The Earth Was Perfectly Designed To Clean Itself

I was looking at some bird mess on my car. And I was thinking, "How am going to get this off?"

And then I thought, "Most of the time, things get cleaned up automatically, by the rain and by the operation of scavenger birds and other animals, along with the normal processes of decay and decomposition."

What a wonderful way to understand God's capabilities as Designer And Creator Of The Universe!

The Earth is perfectly designed to clean itself! Look around you and see how it works: Scavenger birds and other animals clean up dead bodies and other things. Flies lay their eggs in dead things, and the resulting maggots consume the carcasses. Things rot, then crumble and fall apart. And then comes the rain.

The water in the rain tends to dissolve almost everything that needs to be cleaned up, leaving intact most things which do not need to be cleaned up. The tapping action of the individual raindrops hastens and promotes the clean-up process. The rain collects the refuse, then deposits some of it into the ground, where it is filtered and makes its way into the water table below. Some water runs off into streams, which feed into rivers, which feed into oceans. The process of evaporation extracts the pure water and draws it upward, where it eventually forms clouds and rains again. The residue not evaporated stays below, in the oceans.

Isn't this all a perfect clean-up system? Could you design one better? Could "evolution" have designed such a system, or "evolved" it? By blind trial and error? Never! Never is ten zillion years could all of these things come together so perfectly by chance to accomplish a needed objective like cleaning up.

The Atheists at least have a conceptual model (wrong that it is) of how different life forms "evolved." But how can they explain the "evolution" of such a perfect clean-up system in the earth? In biology, there is reproduction, which gives the Atheists the chance to fabricate a theory based on "random mutation and natural selection." But no such theory is possible regarding the earth itself, because there is no reproduction, and thus no genes to "randomly" mutate. Without "random mutation," all theories of blind evolution fall apart.

So we once again return to the core truth, as stated in the very first verse of the Bible.
