NOTE: When you read this prayer, try to imagine hearing my voice as I speak it to you. In this way, the prayer is reactivated, and it is the same as if I were actually praying for you at that moment. (Just like television prayers are reactivated when you watch them, although the videotape may have been shot years before.) 



  Prayer4You207: "A Prayer To Eliminate Resentment"

       Sometimes Resentment enters into life
       And fills your heart with dull and evil pain.
       A feeling that you have been victimized,
       And that a great injustice has been done.
       And maybe you are right to feel this way,
       For many times it happens in this world.

       When times like this occur, here is my prayer:

       I pray the Holy Spirit takes control
       And cancels all resentment that you feel.
       I pray He wipes it cleanly from your heart,
       And blocks it out completely from your mind,
       So you have no remaining trace of it.

       And then I pray the Lord will give to you
       A full and ample portion of Himself,
       To fill your heart and mind with loving thoughts,
       Replacing all the harmful thoughts you had.

       In Jesus' name I pray for you, Amen.
