To Those In Mortal Danger 

NOTE: When you read this prayer, try to imagine hearing my voice as I speak
it to you.  In this way, the prayer is reactivated, and it is the same
as if I were actually praying for you at that moment.
(Just like television prayers are reactivated when you watch 
them, although the videotape may have been shot years before.)





 
                   To those in mortal danger for their life;
                   Who face the threat of death this very day:
                   I Pray the Lord is with you in your need;
                   I pray that He will shield you from all harm;
                   I pray He brings you safely through the storm.
                   But even now, you must remember this:
                   The Lord is God: He does as He will do.
                   He sometimes chooses not to intervene,
                   But let the worldly forces run their course.
                   And you must not complain against His will,
                   For all of us have chosen life on earth,
                   And we were fairly warned before we came.
                   And so, in mortal danger, you might die.
                   I pray you are prepared for this, as well.
                   And if you die, I pray you join the Lord
                   In heaven, where there is no grief or pain,
                   And dwell forever, joyful, at His side.
