Let's Go To Church This Sunday

NOTE: When you read this prayer, try to imagine hearing my voice as I speak
it to you.  In this way, the prayer is reactivated, and it is the same
as if I were actually praying for you at that moment.
(Just like television prayers are reactivated when you watch 
them, although the videotape may have been shot years before.)

              
                 You have a very busy daily life; 
                 Your job requires twelve hours every day;
                 You hardly see your children anymore;
                 You say your daily prayers and seek the Lord;
                 You haven't found a church you really like;
                 You think you really do not need to go. 

                     *             *            *

                 I pray the Lord will give you what you need:
                 You need to find a church that is your own,
                 Where you and fellow Christians meet with Him.
                 I pray the Lord will lead you to your church;
                 I pray you will be watching for His signs.
                 And having found a church, you need to go.
                 You need the presence of these kindred souls,
                 To help you grow and prosper in the Lord,
                 To keep you walking straightly on His path,
                 For Satan thrives on Christians all alone.
                 I pray that you, this Sunday, will attend.
                 I pray the Lord will meet you at the door. 
                 In Jesus' name I pray for you, Amen.
                
                   
NOTE:  If you find yourself responding emotionally to this prayer, don't be
       alarmed; it is probably just the Lord working on your heart, telling
       you He's ready for you to invite Him in.  If you haven't done so
       already, why don't you become an out-and-out Christian right now?
