Blessings to you, the readers of this page, in Jesus Christ our Lord. May He guide you and protect you always.
Q: What do you mean, "Storms Of Life?" What are they?A: The Storms Of Life are the various troubles and problems which happen to us during our lives. They may include sickness, injury, war, birth defects, problems with our parents, problems with our children, problems on the job, unemployment, poverty, problems with demons and other unclean spirits, problems with money, bad habits, addictions, chronic pain, problems with the law, problems with our neighbors, problems in our intimate relationships, problems with food, problems with weight, and many others. But they all have one common characteristic: they are bad situations which we do not want to be in.

Q: Why does God allow our lives to be filled with trouble? If He has power over everything, why doesn't He make our lives easy and trouble-free?
A: I don't know. He just does. He must have His own good reasons, but we are not entitled to know these reasons at this time.
"Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble." (Job 14:1 KJV) "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." (1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV)*****
Q: If I see a storm starting to arise -- trouble on the horizon -- is there anything I can do to keep it from getting worse?
A: Yes. Re-commit yourself to Jesus Christ, and then pray for help.
These pages will help you re-commit yourself to Jesus . . .*****For initial salvation => Jesus Direct
For full discipleship => Christian DisciplesQ: If God already knows everything, why do I need to pray for help? Why do I need to pray for anything? Doesn't He already know what I want?
A: If you really want something, for a legitimate good reason, you had better pray for it! Yes, He already knows everything, but He doesn't necessarily pay attention to everything. He desires us to express ourselves directly to Him when we want something. As the Bible says, "Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." - Philippians 4:6 (KJCNT)
*****
Q: How much should I pray for something I want? How often? Is one time enough, or should I keep repeating my appeal to Him?
A: This may surprise you, but the Bible seems to say that you should keep repeating your appeal until He gives you what you ask for. I am not sure this is good advice in every case, but this seems to be the point of the Parable Of The Importunate Widow. The widow kept appealing to the judge until the judge finally granted her request.
*****
Q: Sometimes God does not answer my prayers. Why not?
A: He gives whatever He wants to whomever He chooses. He has His own good reasons for doing things, which we are not entitled to understand at this time. Even so, we ourselves sometimes cause our prayers to be not answered because we do not really believe He is able to answer them. That is, we have insufficient faith in His ability. We must truly believe and understand that He is able to accomplish any purpose He chooses to accomplish. There is nothing God cannot do if He chooses to do it. Sometimes we may believe that God can do it, but we do not believe that He will do it for us. In other words, we might believe that God is able to cure cancer, but we might not believe that He is willing to cure our particular case of cancer. He is most likely to answer our prayers if we believe He is able to do so and we also believe He is willing to do so in our particular case. Also see Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People?
*****
Q: What if He does not grant any of my requests at all, and the very worst things happen to me or to my loved ones?
A: This has happened to me two times in my life: when my first ex-wife died of brain cancer, and when my mother died as a result of peripheral arterial disease. In these cases -- when your prayers have not been granted -- the only thing to do is to realize that He is Absolute Sovereign God, and that He does what He does, for His own good reasons, which we are not entitled to know.
*****
Q: What if He solves my problems and gives me everything I asked for?
A: Immediately you should thank Him profusely; then, as soon as you can, turn around and do something really nice for someone else, whether they ask you for it or not.
NOTE: Here is a very important promise from God, for us to always keep in mind whenever we are facing one of the storms of life: no matter what happens, if we love Him, God will make everything work out for our own good, even if this idea seems preposterous at the time.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 KJV)We are "the called according to His purpose" as mentioned above. We would not have come to Jesus and given ourselves to Him if we had not been called by God to do so. The very fact that we have given ourselves to Jesus means that we are "called according to his purpose." Therefore, this promise applies to us. All things will work together for good for us.*****
Q: What is the end result of all of our Storms Of Life here on this earth?
A: We die and go to Heaven; and then all our troubles will be gone.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:4 KJV)Until then, we have the Holy Spirit as our Comforter, Who will be with us, helping us and loving us at all times.
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" (John 14:16 KJV) <><Another Christian wrote . . .
God never promised us a perfect life where there would be no storms......he knew we would face those storms, He knew we would go through hard times, but what he did promise was help getting through the stormy, hard times that come along. Believe it or not those hard times do serve a purpose. They let us know how much we need Jesus......for how would we know how much we truely need Him in we had nothing to overcome, How would we know He was there for us to lean on if we never faced any hard times......Jesus will never leave nor forsake you. He loves you and wants so much to be part of your life, to help you through the hard times, share in the good times.....You are his child, He created you, knew you before you were born and knows you now better than anyone ever could. Isnt that amazing!! He is a wonderful God and To Him be all honor, glory and Praise....forever and ever!Source: http://wendyscozycorner.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!1pnQf2ZOaH2ZUsUDctrb3m6w!157.entry
